The Carolinas

Charlotte, NC; Concord, NC; and Fort Mill, SC

The Carolinas Student Hunger Drive is a 6-week competition between participating local high schools to see who can collect the most pounds of food per student through campus events, contests and other community collection activities. Visit our website for more details!

To fuel the competition, winning schools are awarded with cash prizes used to fund school projects, needed supplies or additional leadership and community programs on campus.

The Student Hunger Drive promotes volunteerism, leadership and community involvement within student leaders and high schools.

100% of all food donated is distributed directly back to individuals and families living in Charlotte and surrounding communities through Second Harvest Food Bank's network
of emergency pantries.
